The Ontario recreation and leisure area is located northeast of Karlovy Vary. It is set above the valley of the Ohře River, where the former Kyselka Spa is situated. The site lies on the edge of the forest in a beautiful landscape at the foothills of the Ore Mountains and the Doupov Mountains, with a view of the historic Bučina lookout tower dating back to the time of Heinrich Mattoni. The area is ideal as a base for hiking and cycling trips in the wider surroundings. It is characterized by a natural and peaceful setting.
“The Ontario recreation and leisure area has returned to the administration of the Municipality of Kyselka after many years and has been undergoing gradual restoration since 2021. It is a quiet and unique place nestled in beautiful nature. In addition to traditional camping and accommodation in cabins, the site will host summer children’s camps, corporate and association events, weddings, concerts, and other social and cultural events.”
